I don't think he cut it. He just stuck an index card or piece of paper over the corner. If there is a problem with what is shown, I don't see it.

What year bug? I think I still have the original owners manual from my 59.

Could be someone just liked them and snagged a pair from the bone yard. I got many upgrades for myself and friends from the local yards.

Sounds like BS for a buck, looking for a sucker to pay big bucks for a story line on a car never built by GM.
? going to an auction ?
66  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: 1967 Camaro RS SS Conv. Interior Trim color . on: September 11, 2013, 05:23:11 AM
I would think the same color as the carpet in the cabin. Others will chime in if I'm wrong.

68  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: 1969 DZ BLOCK OR NOT... on: September 02, 2013, 07:58:14 PM
I think you could build a 302 from many blocks, save your money for the internals, and maybe get a better return on your investment.  There was only one original block, if you don't have it you don't have it. 5k for the wrong block might feel good, but still need the internals to make it go like a Z. I would consider just cloning the 302 from a solid small block core.

Was the change due to salvage & flood type cars from out of state getting clean titles ?

Any difference between auto and manual shift, or just floor vs column ?

ALL the "reality shows" are scripted. Modern soap operas.

You should be able to save the image from MS PP in *.gif format, and then post or print the *.gif image.

I think Buick even used a hood tach on some of the GS X models
75  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: am fm radio multiplex on: August 19, 2013, 12:22:36 AM
I swapped - upgraded a few radios back when with units from the junk yard almost any GM radio fit almost any GM car. 30 years later you wouldn't be able to tell how or when that car got that radio. But I could also see an occasional LA car having a radio designated for another model built on the same line. They would not stop the line because they didn't have the right  radio.
