1036  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Enclosed trailer on: July 13, 2007, 09:31:53 AM
This thread has been giving me that same idea. Expanding the garage would be challenging, and expensive. Would a trailer be a reasonable place to store a car? What additional concerns would there be?

I don't know how correct it is, but Ricks 2006 catalog page 24 shows arm rest panels for 67 deluxe, or 67-69 with fold down, along with upholstery, and filler panels for the same. Filler panels look like the ones in the photo above. That photo was of a 69 with fold down at Carlisle. This is one of the things I was trying to learn about at the show.

Any opinions?

I'd love to see photos of correct components. I bought the seat back with the latch for my 69 at a swap, but need all the additional parts before I can install.

I spoke to someone from Ricks at Carlisle. He told me the rear side panels for my 69 (I am adding the fold down), and convertable panels were the same.

GOAT,

I might still have a few parts (very few) around someplace form my 59 bug. Any value there?

Memorial Day was not always the last Monday in the month. Not sure what year it changed, but I think it was after 69.

Tough to take a decent photo of yourself. took a couple tries just to get reasonably centerted. Say hello if you see me wandering about the feilds on Saturday. My wife and my youngest are coming, but the girls will probably not be checking out too many cars.  Sunday I'm off to Florida, somebody wake me when I get there.

I'll be there Saturday. Is there any way to recognize CRG folk?

If you value your motor, read the link posted above by lakeholme.

Years ago I used to check tires for out of round on a speed balancer with a stick of chalk. If they were out of round it became very visible very quickly. Round tires got a line all the way around, out of round only showed color on high spots. If you can spin the shaft you should be able to spot if it's bent.

Good luck

Bring the kid! I hope to see you there.

I also prefer the c-grip wheel, and if I come across a reasonably priced original would pick it up, and use it. But then I don't have an ultra rare high bucks car. It's just a PJ 307 glide.

All production stripes, Z28 and SS were Red, Black, or White. Red stripes mostly came on burgundy (67) cars. With Silver (69) paint and (715) blue interior, if it had stripes they would have been black.
Personally I like the silver/blue combo.

Jimmy,

I tried the Sunday visit a couple years back. Wasn't a productive day. Venders and everyone else was concentrating on getting out. Saturday would be a better choice. I plan to be there for Saturday this year. I need to do some learning.
