I am gonna say the bolts go up because thats the way mine is presently and I honestly believe (can't confirm) the crossmember has never been removed. In fact I even left it in place while I blasted/painted the frame. However I am missing one of the 4 bolts/nuts  .

Does this mean that the nos replacement mirrors  that were sold years ago are in fact the original mirrors or is there a difference? I still have my un-installed nos mirror and always was under the impression they were incorrect w/o the bowtie.

Hi I went out and looked at my original doors and have 1 original chrome metal knobs the other is mia. Is the chrome metal knob part of the Z23 interior decor package? I have black interior w/z23. I always assumed it was plastic but its like Brads 2 piece above.

In addition a magnet will not pick it up so it must be alumninum I dunno but the shaft is so thin walled it couldn't be made of plastic.

My 02C Los Angeles built Z/28 has a wood grain ashtray with these numbers/letters stamped on the bottom:

I have a satin black ash tray with same PN# 1A27762 but I don't know what it came from. It could be from a 67 Firebird I dunno.
