3  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Why is there some Z28's with 3908326 Rear Proportioning Valves and Some without on: January 08, 2010, 12:21:00 AM
Ok heres mine. 1967 RS 327 L30/M20 LOS 03D with the valve, 1968 SS/BB  NOR 10B with valve, 1968 coupe 327 210hp LOS 03A no valve, 1969 LM1/350 auto LOS 11D with valve. Only one of them is an SS Camaro. Hope this helps. Corrected with build date and plant. Why does the 1967 RS have the valve as it does not fit the 1967 data? Any ideas Kurt?

I know this was possible in 1968. Ivy green interior with dark green dash pad and dark green pillar post molding. This is the way my Camaro came from factory. Second owner car.

To me that looks like the best use of the Dynacore body. No need for a trim tag or vin number. LOL

Have your insurance agent run the numbers. They have a data base which goes back older than the police. Less questions asked if the insurance does the check. Hope you find it.
13  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: Is this vin in the CRG database? on: March 29, 2007, 05:56:19 PM
The old Camaro Corral Mag had a form in it when they started the decode of the first gen Camaro's. I will see if I can find a copy of it and get some digital photo's of it. Ed I will e-mail you the photo's and you can do with them as you see. Hope they are not to large. Weston
14  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: Protect-o-plate number ? on: January 26, 2007, 10:04:25 PM
Just a question on the unused code. Does your Camaro have the fiber optic or the light monitoring system (U46) on the fenders? I also have the same code on my POP but do not have the door molding or floor mats, granted the floor mats could have been trashed years ago. Could this code could be for punching the holes in the fenders, as they were punched not cut out? As floor mats and door molding were very common and the 3 code is very rare on the POP maybe this is what it was for.  Thank you for the responce.

Second owner of one, Brother in law bought it new in April 1967. Mine had full wheel covers on standard steel wheels painted black.
