I heard there were some chemicals that could reveal the original stamping from the metal stress or whatever. Why don't you check it out and see if it will pull up and numbers?

I am aware of the abuse and the Alabaster case you guys mentioned. The County has already tried to offer me half the value of my property in what they called a pre-acquisition....yeah right. I have been told they will start the process again at the end of this year but they will then be under the federal regulations for eminent domain. I expect to have to fight to get a fair value but what disturbs me is that they have put my life as well as others on hold for over one and a half years, so far, and no telling how much longer.

OK...I know I am making the biggest mistake of my life but I am going to sell all my cars and parts. I need a little advice. They are all in one stage or another of restoration and I am not wanting to finish any. They have all sat for the last 5 years and now the county I live in is taking my home and shop for a new road.

Should I try and sell the whole lot or one at a time? Is Ebay the best option? I would like someone to just take everything at once because I will give the deal of the century to someone.

I wouldn't worry too much about getting it like it was, without the trim tag its meaningless. Just fix it up nice and enjoy it.

I was told many years ago that pink rods were no different,  they were the rods from the production stage that were dabbed pink to mark them for quality control. They were pulled from the line at random and checked for accuracy. This may all be bull but I believed it?

Rotate the distributor, you only have to lift it up about an inch or so. You would only  be creating problems and confusion for the next person that works on it.

Although there was a 350/350 hp available in the Corvette in 1969 I'm not sure if GM was calling it the Lt1

I have a 70 corvette 350/350 and it is not an LT1.

What year car is it?
 If it is a 67 then there will be a large square hole in the top / front.
