What Kurt is referring to is the D90 hockey sticks & D96 pinstripe combo, plus the enlongated hockey stick going down to the fender extension. Generally you will not see the D90 hockey sitcks with the D96 pinstripe option, but it did happen. My old 69 Carolina Blue SS had both stripes, original paint.

Interesting, so generally the cars with the D90 sticks did not get the D96 pinstripes, I will leave the D96 out of my car then.

Kurt is there something wrong with that particular picture? I was hoping to copy the pinstripe from that to my 69 SS 350.

I know GM did some "crazy" things with the publicity photos, like Z/28 stripes on a SS badge car, wrong rear deck lid stripes on Z/28's etc etc.

Here is a pretty good picture of a 69 SS 350 with the pinstripes, I believe it is from a 1969 ad:

General Discussion / Re: 67 Yutivo Camaro ad
« on: August 06, 2007, 06:13:31 AM »
I have been living in the Philippines for about 7 years now and naturally therefore developed an interest in the local assembled Camaros.
As you might know, all Yutivos were 6 cylinder 250 cui models with either a 3 speed manual (like mine) or the powerglide transmission, some say that all Yutivos were RS models. Almost all the Yutivos I have seen, has been modified to V8's (as you also can see on my website). In fact so far I only know of one other original drivetrain car - a white 67 standard coupe with black deluxe interior, but I am sure there are more out there.
Kurt S has the info on my car, only the rear end we did not yet get any numbers - hopefully when I come back to the Philippines by next month I will be able to get the numbers of the single leaf 10 bolt axle.

Checked out your sites.  It was interesting to see the Yutivo trim tags had painted(?) letters and the numbers were stamped.  Great thread, tell us more...

There is some great info on Yutivos here on the site: http://www.camaros.org/yutivo.shtml

Originality / Re: Rare '68 seat option or just wrong?

I have seen a few 68's with similar seats.
Isn't that the costum buckets with the optional headrests?

The ad is from a magazine, sorry don't know which one. The picture is from a guy in the US who has a big interest in Yutivo Camaros.
Here is a link to a full size picture of the same ad (225kb): http://www.69pace.com/Yutivos/Camaro_Yutivo_1967.jpg

I have no other vintage ads, you can however see some 67, 68 and 69 Yutivos on my website:

And a picture of my own 67 RS Yutivo project, it has been discussed on camaros.net:
