Whats that mean? I put that ZL-1 motor in it to race. If you went running, wouldn't you put running shoes on?

Thats right, it was never filled in. When I puchased the 1968 Camaro from the original owner (70 year old lady), she did not remember buying the Warranty at all. The Dealer probably slipped it in the final paperwork, it was probably VERY expensive. Now days, they try to sell you extended warranties.

Heres the back of the Warranty. You must bring the car to the dealer every 60 days or void the Warranty. Change the oil every 60 days. Wow, the service cost alone would pay the Dealer for the cost of a new engine in no time.

Anyone ever see one of these? It's a Dealer item, one of the extras they sold you:

Oakly -Are those wire wheel covers on the front ?? I wouldn't have thought those would have made the grade back then for a muscle car  ;D
Thats the way it came when I bought it for $750. By 1980, I made it right! Those are M50-14's in the rear on Crager 14x10 wheels. In those days, it was about getting the car as far from stock as you can.

I agree. Nothing better the the ZL-2 option, especially with a 4 speed! And SS with the ZL-2 is a VERY rare option.

Here is Van Nuys 04A, unrestored original paint, yellow numbers on my car were a date code 3-26-69. Notice drips and runs from dip paint on frame. Restored cars should copy this and not be smooth!:
