It's on page 6-19 in the 1969 manual.  Also do an advanced search I know it's been posted before.  Wink

Nope!

After looking at the eBay pictures your definition of solid is different from mine.

If the pad stamp is real, where is the VIN, seller claims he can't find it elswhere.

The VIN was moved during this time frame.

Give Jerry a call.  I bought one from him in 2008 and I'm very happy with it.

I see X11 on the Cowl Tag could this be a Z/28 or SS?

Definitively not a Z.

X77-69z28

Are you saying that on the engine block down by the oil filter there should be stamped a VIN number that should match the VIN of the body?

None on the top except (brake booster hose tower on LR) and the plug wire retainers on the bottom.

Good pictures of John's car.  Smiley

Typical unsubstantiated, over-hyped rust-bucket looking for a sucker.

Yep! I have to agree.

Quote from the ad: CAR COULD AND WILL POSSIBLY BE ON OF THE RAREST 1968 CAMARO Z28 CARS EVER PRODUCED BY GENERAL MOTORS IN THE YEAR OF 1968. IN 1967 THEY HAD 602 Z28 CARS THROUGH EVEN WHEN THEY ONLY MADE 69 ZL1 CARS IN 1969, BUT ACCORDING TO CAMARO RESEARCH GROUP AND OTHER SOURCES, THIS COULD BE THE ONLY 1 EVER PRODUCED IN THE CAMARO MODELS YEARS FROM 1967-TILL CURRENT!!!

Ed, I have searched CRG and cannot find anything on this car.  Must be top secret.
