nothing wrong that, but I never got an answer to my question if Chris Pisane has a x77 jl8 car originally or not. I do agree with the rest of the board that if you buy a X77 car you should not put the trim on, there are plenty of X33 cars out there, just get one of those if you like the trim. My issue is I only like the roof rail trim and the small trim on the taillights, I don't like any of the other trim. They made 20,000 of these cars other the jl8 option, you can get just about any kind of Z you want. Even the RS cars are easy to get, if thats what you like. I would say the hardest thing to come across is probably just original unmolested cars.

Since he hasn't posted in almost two years, shoot him a P.M.

36  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Maintenance / Re: SB upper Alternator bracket removal on: March 05, 2012, 01:27:15 PM
Got it on the battery cable of course. What I am trying to avoid is removing the alternator or fan belt and just remove the upper bracket. Is that feasible?
Thanks

YES, it is as stated before.
37  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: I have a 1967 Camaro with no antenna..... on: February 24, 2012, 02:48:28 PM
At one time, wasn't there aftermarket 'tape on' antenna' that you could run around the inside of your windshield?  (cheap version of what the mfg's did by putting the antenna wire inside the glass).
..  or is my old memory screwing me around again?   Smiley

Yep, I remember those antennas.

Sold at the buy-it-now price.
40  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: Need Help to Identify Steering Box on: February 19, 2012, 04:21:08 PM
Do you know if this box was ever used on a first gen camaro?

Nope!
I believe that is a generic number used on many applications.

Try Google and see what you find.

43  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: 1968 z28 with jl8 on: February 15, 2012, 09:02:07 PM

But even if it's not a Z, his "Buy it Now" price is pretty good and his Craigslist price is even better! Looks like a solid car.

Looks like a very nice car for the money.
