General Discussion / Re: Best Method to Put in Rear Seat?

I would spend the time to get it out and look see what's under there. My case there were what was left of two joints and three .38 bullets, and all other kinds of knick knacks, cracker jacks etc.  Not good when your employed by the USAF and pass thru security every day with the chance of getting pulled over and searched by drug dogs.

My Turbo 400 fittings are brass. There is another modulator part # 8623983 Those are black. Might be other parts numbers that replaced these two. Heres anothe pic I found of that part # you have.

Hey Chuck. Will you give me a GI discount on that 8L15 distributor? It would fit nice in my 02C L-78.

This car also appears to be heavily optioned. From what I can see by the pics...clock, rosewood steering wheel, gauge pkg, delux interior, rs/ss pkg, vinyl top, and what really catches my eyes are the SS wheels and the AM/FM radio (I think its amfm). It will be interesting to see if these are all original components.

What else am I missing?

Here's the list of all the options, price, and how many were produced...http://www.camaros.org/pdf/options.pdf

If everything checks out you might have to dig pretty deep.  ;)

I almost forgot to mention because I was focused on other areas of the car but I did confirm the dual exhaust. The doubler plate is on the rear drivers side frame rail. Indicating RPO N10
were you able to get a pic of that plate?  About every one of the real deal dual exhaust plates I have seen were basically hit with the welder in a few spots.  If they were added later in the cars life most have a nice continuous bead in place....top and bottom.
Looks like a nice car.  Good luck.

General Discussion / Re: interior question

Steve,  More than likely some parts are missing.  The rear seat top latches onto a bar, theres a release mechanism that lets it fold down. Your going to need some additional parts to make that seat work.  You can buy them on line...so no worries there.
I dont know if a Birds rear fold down seat is the same as a Camaro's though.

Post some pics using photobucket.  It might help other's here to I.D.ing it.

General Discussion / Re: Classic Headquarters idler arm? any good?
« on: March 23, 2010, 08:49:02 AM »
Buy the A/C delco idler arm.  I installed an Autozone idler arm about 5 years ago.  I just took my car through safety inspection and the inspector stated it was loose.  I'll install the A/C delco this weekend.

Your oil filter might be smaller.  If its smaller than usual then you will go over the fill mark.
