16  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Carb Stud Length - '69 Cowl Air Cleaner on: March 10, 2013, 02:03:45 PM
In the AMK products catalog it shows the stud with part 3747933 as 1/4 20 x 1 5/8 OAL. This part number of the stud # 3747933 is listed in the cowl induction section of the AIM. This length of the stud appears to match the original engine photo of the # 3 ZL1 camaro in a book I have.

The bracket in the bottom photo with the rounded corners is the correct bracket for 68-69 B/B. The rounded bracket in the above photo is correct for 70 B/B because the bracket was drilled for a return spring. The 68-69 B/B bracket did not have hole drill in it for return spring.

They are listed in the AMK catalog as chrome plated screws 8-18x 7/8 .31 OD, # B-11150.
20  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Speedo cable Clips on: July 21, 2012, 12:58:42 PM
I compared your clip to a original spare clip I have and I could easily bend my clip to same configuration as yours shown in the photos.
21  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Speedo cable Clips on: July 20, 2012, 09:59:01 PM
It l looks like standard clip that has been bent around 180 degrees to me.

I checked my cluster and the dash PRNDL assembly is there, but the orange needle is broke off the plastic arm too.

27  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Was This Ever a Recall? on: April 04, 2012, 12:52:04 PM
I checked my 69 camaro wiring harness and it does not have a harness retaining wiring clip in this location.
28  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: ZL2 Flat Bottom AC Base on: February 21, 2012, 06:07:52 PM
Exactly what the difference is between an SS350 manual base [6485233] and the Z/28-BB base [6485235] I do not know.

The difference is the between the SS350 manual base is the vent tube has a sharper 90 degree bend to the base of the of the air cleaner. The tube are the same size.

Re-stamp, the #7 stamps have the incorrect fonts and not known stamp date.
30  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Dash Panel Mystery on: January 21, 2012, 02:36:22 PM
That PANEL, INSTRUMENT" part number: 8716458, group: 10.230 is for a Nova, I am not sure what year it fits, but going by the speaker grill opening I would say mid to late 70's.
