N665225 was final-assembled on or about July 2nd, 1969. Has a 10B body tag, 2nd week of October, 1968. One or both tags may not be original to the car.

N538180 was final-assembled on or about November 7, 1968. Has an 04C X22 body tag, 3rd week of April, 1969. In addition, the top of the dash has been replaced meaning both tags have been off the car.

There's something happening here. What it is ain't exactly clear.

VIN tag has obviously been removed and re-attached with incorrect rivets. Mecum and GAA flag this at auction because it can present a registration problem in some states. Car is located in Canada so there's that.

Car may have been re-bodied so hidden VINs must be verified.

Window stlcker is a repro.

Engine is stamped T0212DZ, block cast September 20, 1968. We are expected to believe the block sat around over 20 weeks before becoming the only Tonawanda 302. Other DZ engines built in that time frame have 618 blocks cast Jan 31-Feb 8.

"I have owned over a hundred first generation Camaro's..."

Body tag shows it was born Frost Green, green standard interior.
