The X66 code on the trim tag tells us this is an SS396 Camaro.

Since it has Style Trim Group, should have ordered an X22 tag. Tag has two errors.

Yikes rusty VIN tag.

This is a frame off rotisserie restored real X77 car with a numbers matching 302.

Body tag has been removed and re-installed. Looks real but does not indicate a vinyl top.

A Google search turns up pics and video of a silver & black Z/28. Same body tag, 350 engine.

Like to see the Protect-O-Plate. Not mentioned in the ad for the silver car.

Has an X77 body tag dated 08A. At one time, the car had a re-issued VIN tag 124379N670189 which corresponds to an 08A body tag date.

If 124379N608379 is the VIN on the tag in the dash, could be a problem.

The owner states this is the original engine and it does have the correct block number cast on the back with the correct Vin # stamped on the front pad too.

No pics of body tag, block, trans or axle stampings. X77 car w/added Z21.

Was at R-S AZ 2014, docs are repro.

Not only is this a true SS car, but also the trim tag tells us it was born with a hounds-tooth interior, too.

Not a tough call, thanks to the error.
