This is the REAL DEAL guys!!! Only a Few Produced with these options!!

The orange hound's-tooth custom interior was added as an option for coupes only February, 1969. That VIN was final-assembled on or about Sep 26, 1968, more than 4 months prior. Car was not built with an orange interior.

Body tag has no rivets; maybe glued on. It has been off the car for some reason.

From the ad:

1969 Camaro SS project L-78 396/375 M22 12 Bolt

Has production heater and cross-member, M22 with a Chevelle VIN and a non-matching L78 engine. Body tag is missing.

Rosewood dash, deluxe interior is complete.

Has standard seats.

Not a factory L-78 396/375 M22. Proceed with caution.

No VIN listed

Seller comments:

It is the rare Silver w/ black stripe paint option. Only 19 where produced  by GM. The rare factory paint  was professionally restored where necessary and buffed to its original luster.

The body tag shows 40 B-Butternut Yellow w/black vinyl top. They painted it the wrong color, removed the vinyl top and incorrectly swapped out the interior.

Nuthin' for nuthin' but both tags have been off the car. The dash top was replaced and the body tag has non-original rivets. Both tags look real but may not have been on this car originally. Check those hidden VINs.

VIN not listed

From the ad: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS (X22)

Don't know why that would matter as the car now has a 454/700R4 and many other mods. The tag also shows the 729 white hounds tooth interior which it does not have.

Ad contains the following statement: The X11 Code on the trim tag proves this was a real RS/SS from the factory.

No it does not. X11 indicates it was built with Style Trim Group. That's it. X11 can be found on 6 cylinders and ZL1s. There was no X code for RS.

Nice looking car, might be a real RS-SS. Or not.
