4  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Super find of old cars and parts on: December 01, 2005, 08:24:36 PM
I saw this article on a local web site about a guy had past away who had a big collection of parts & cars.

Here is the site www.depereautocenter.com

What a time capsule, I guess there is hope to still find killer stuff.

6  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: X55 R/S ?? on: October 23, 2005, 08:32:42 PM
That tag  I know is wrong because is does not match vin date -557203 12 bolt rear date bm1121g2

I guess it is a small block, all the a/c is gone so I can't tell there.

What about the motor mounts?

Mark,

The car has two fuel lines.

I cannot post a pic of the tag because of the pics are 150kb, the lowest setting on camera is 640.
Don't know how to compress smaller.

Thanks Curtis

Hello Kurt,

You were correct someone swapped the tag.
The tag was 02 build date but vin was 012, 12 bolt rear was correct for vin & the back up lights look correct.
What will i do for a tag ? Call repo tage people?

Thanks Curtis
