Kurt Im surprised that he found a 2:56 gearing in that 12bolt. Although I suppose someone could have changed out the gears. With the LM1 were you able to order such a highway gear for it? I thought only the Powerglides had that low of an option?

Ed thats my guage cluster from my 69RS, it was never on ebay but my guess is you grabbed it for reference from Team Camaro. Glad it helps folks  out. I was slamming the console together to get to a car show that year so I just taped it in there and like so many projects, never got back to it :)

My 10C of 68 built LM1 camaro (69) has the ...388 block with 4 bolt mains. :)

BB mounts moved the engine toward the passenger side for manifold to clear steering gear box on drivers side :)

 I did my bushings last year and took a bunch of pics  http://www.carsbyjim.com/storage/Frame%20Bushings/
  Soaking them helped alot but I was lucky my cage nuts were not messed up to bad either.
