Ed some 68 hard tops had the w/s pillar post white and the windlace that runs along the edge of the headliner along with the rear window trin white. I know he asked about a convt.  Being there were two white int's. in 68 maybe the pearl one was different than the ivory when it come to the pieces I'm  talking about

Welcome Jerry, 67 under hood lamps are different than 68 & 69 . They only have one mounting screw and are mounted turned around as you can see in the pic.  Small block on the left side and big block on the right. The 67's are tuff to find so you may have to use the later ones

22  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Trim tag on: January 22, 2013, 02:42:24 PM
A friend of mine has a documented 67 Z  survivor that was just at  the Russo Steel auction. The Trim  tag was interesting. It was an LA car and only had 4L . It didn't  even  have 2L for the 4 speed.  No question the car is real. There were no other options on the tag so do you think that is why they didn't include the 2L in group 2. Are there any other 4spd cars with no options like this in the reg?

Most or us body guys will just re bow  the hood to match the fenders . I find that most nos fenders do not have the curve that the orig hood and  fenders had

It all fits and only goes on one way. Tape won't come out if the shifter is in 1st or 3rd

I'll trim them down so they look like my other ones

I picked up a set of kick panel speaker grills. The question I have is on the ones I bought. They are the same thickness all the way around it. I also have a 69Z with the 8 track option and those speaker grills are thinner on one side. They were on my Z when I bought it and the 8 track was with the car too.  So I just figured they were orig to the car. I took them off my Z just to get everything hooked up in my brothers car until I got a set.  The set I got is the same size all the way around. Its not a big deal but I'd like to know whats correct. You should be able to see the difference in the pics. I took , Thanks Kerry

On this set up the shifter needs to be in neutral to get the tape all the way out
