no snaps.there are some repros available on the market,but they are not as "good" as the originals.and yes they are tricky to with the top off the car.

couple questions about engine compartment grnd straps(bounding wires) on 327 engine.

1-how many?2 or 3?(one on each valve cover,one on sub-frame?)
2-can anyone post pictures of exact location on firewall?and sub frame if any.
3-how about ground"ring" on wiper motor grommet,you fold it back?

I had the same problem.I returned them and I got "soft seal"brand.they work good.

Alan,no such thing as dumb questions.If the engine is still in the car it might be tricky to see the casting #.look behind left hand head on the block.
