Restoration / Re: New tie rod ends and idler arm

X2, Rock Auto a great source. Keep in mind the Moog rod ends have slightly thicker rods, there is a slight step between the rod and the threads,  but good choice.

A good rule is that when you're in a hole, stop digging.

Good one William :>) I think you and Kurt have went above and beyond trying to explain this.

When asked about these first gen Norwood body broadcast sheets by local guys, I tell them don't even bother looking !

On Gradys Brown COPO we had at MCACN, 23k mile 09D X11 the lower bolts looked to be bright plated based on some surviving plating under the washers. So based on that I restored them clear cad. Note 2 different vendor's.
Can't help on the top hardware.

Restoration / Re: Brake system brass tube seats - where to buy ???
« on: December 15, 2016, 09:27:59 PM »
You might not need new seats. I restored these by chucking in a drill and cleaning up with a smooth single cut file and scotchbright as needed.

I have after removing all the brass seats I have refaced them . I chuck them in a drill that can grab the small flange and dress them down with a small single cut file then finish with scotchbright, they will lokk brand new.

That is not an OE check valve, those are common as dirt and not even worth shipping, and I suspect he knows it to. It is called a fishing expedition.

The repo frame clips are a rip, total junk. Good luck using them, nothing like the originals.
