Restoration / Re: Upper control arm bolt paint?
« on: February 05, 2019, 11:15:14 PM »
If you mean the ones that had the alignment shims then no, it wasn't painted. Only the shaft with the end caps/bolts were painted when the whole arm assembly was painted as a unit.

Legendary are very accurate looking. I used a set once a few years back. The only issue was I had to fold back the vinyl and trim the card board backing on the fron edge, not a Hugh deal, and typical on replacement stuff. Would use the again.

Mild Modifications / Re: Alignment to Weld Spring Perches

Measure the spring mounts in the vehicle. Are they the same width front and rear?

There not the same, that's why the 2* angle is there. Important.

IMO, #2 is the only assy line correct for 69. I have sourced a handful of the first one at a salvage yard from early/mid 70 cars, and as mentioned 3 is much later.

One of the nicest COPO restorations I have seen. Done by a hobbyist working out of his garage.

Thanks for that William. Also was awarded the Judges platinum pick for best Chevrolet, my second.
