General Discussion / Camaro cowl on EBAY
« on: August 06, 2007, 02:24:43 AM »
I think this is already in the data base ?? Kurt. But it is up for sale again
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270149380028&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=017#ebayphotohosting

I copied the picture of the Vin plate off the EBAY add and the enlarged it, looks like the viv# is 12379N594786, they made an attempt to pencil out the last #'s, but you can still read them.

Originality / COPO 9737
« on: August 02, 2007, 02:27:07 AM »
In the latest issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines, there is a artical on a Fathom Green 69 Camaro SS L78 car. In the artical it states  the car is equiped with the sports car conversion package. Never heard of this on a non COPO 427 car.
Could the COPO 9737 package be ordered on a SS car ?  :o

General Discussion / YH wheel dates
« on: May 02, 2006, 04:12:52 PM »
I have seen several YH wheels on Ebay that have date codes that stretch into 1970. How long did they produce the YH wheel ? The set I see now is k 1 0  6 22. When were the last 69's built ? I guess I am alittle confused about this.  :P

General Discussion / Factory Marking FYI
« on: January 02, 2006, 08:19:03 PM »
I have been restoring a 69 COPO for one of the local's. Thought you might like checking out this marking I found on one of the front fender extensions.
As you can see the mark is "427 M" any ideas on what the M stands for ? I'm thinking 427 engine Manual trans ?
It is a Hugger Orange Double COPO Norwood 4C car, To bad, no paper.
