Are the spindles the same as the later two piece rotor spindles, and or the JL-8 brakes?

Thanks for the info, they must have changed the design of the bottom of the air cleaner pretty early, the box that this ones in has a date of 1973 on it. Back to the original question, what's it worth?

Looked at the air cleaner today. It is part number 648591. It has ridge  around the bottom. The element has a  screen with square holes A212CW. The adapter for the cowl seal is part number 3975986 or 06. Is the flat bottom desirable? Or were the originals indented? One more thing the top is Black weren't the cowl hoods supplied with chrome tops?
   Thanks Pat

Any ideas on the value of an NOS air cleaner assembly for a 69 Z. Circa 1976.  It also has the seal and adapter plate.
55  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Removing Broadcast Sheet from tank on: December 21, 2008, 04:15:27 PM
Sort of a sad story. I replaced the tank in my 69 Z-28 in the late 70's. I still have the tank, I checked it awhile back and there is what appears to be about 3/4 inch of a broadcast sheet stuck to the tank. I would imagine when I pulled it in 1976 I looked at that weird piece of paper and pulled off what was stuck and threw it away! Didn't know what those pieces of paper were back then, but what to heck it was only a $2350.00 dollar car.

59  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Mild Modifications / 67 Disc Brake Convert on: November 13, 2008, 09:09:39 AM
My son has a 67 with drum drum brake system. He is interested in installing a set of front discs. I have seen info before on which GM vehicles had spindles which were interchangeabl, to convert to factory discs. Any one have this info?
   Thanks Pat

My car is garnet red with white stripes. It was wearing it's original paint when I purchased it in 1975. It has a - - paint code.
