16  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: 1111480 Distributor Stamp Verification on: June 30, 2012, 09:18:16 AM
Are people paying that kind off money for real 1111480 distributors?
17  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Chambered Exhaust Option - 69 Z on: April 02, 2012, 07:18:58 PM
I have a set of resonators which I purchased in 76 from GM with my chambered system I mistakenly believed they went with that system. Having no use for them I welded  a set of header reducers on the inlets and used them a couple of times to test an open header car on the street. I'm pretty sure that the reducers can be cut off without hurting the resonators. If anyone can use them, I'll dig them out and take a look to be sure. Send me a PM or e-mail if you can use them.

69 302's didn't have interlock mounts from the factory did they? I had to take mine in for a recall, the dealer installed them.

My car is a 12C LA car, it has what I believe to be an original tire on the spare. Good-Year.

21  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: JL8 Front Brakes on: April 21, 2011, 09:31:47 AM
Did he change the rearend also?
Thanks for the info, it appears to be exactly what was done to my car.  There is a small piece of brake line that had to be modified for the JL8 brakes to be used.  My father-in-law took JL8 front brakes off his wrecked Z28 and put them on the Z28 I am restoring.
22  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: JL8 Front Brakes on: April 20, 2011, 09:38:23 AM
I did this changeover in the mid 70's. Took everything off of the JL-8 car down to the spindles. The front brake lines were different also, took them all the way back to the master cyl.
23  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: AD or YH wheels. on: April 14, 2011, 09:05:08 AM
My 12C California car came to me in 75 with a 12/18/68 YH wheel and original tire in the trunk. The other wheels had been changed.

Hotchkis is the way to go, my son was going to put Competition Engineering on His 67 and he would have had to pound the heck out of the floor. Sent them back and got the Hotchkis, they fit great.

Wow, I pulled it out of a 67 camaro at a wrecking yard in 1971, the motor had a four barrel on it and the fender had a 350 emblem on it. Must have been some early parts swapping going on!

I have a part #1111150, date 7D26 distributer. Is it for a 300Hp 350?
