Well as I and mjsmilford have done, and seem to have worked, is have our pic hosted on a web site somewhere that we can just put in the link to the pic.  As far as that is concerned size can't be a limitation because the pic I linked to was HUGE.  I'm assuming the function of uploading your own pic (from your harddrive) to the site is not working.  Get a photobucket account (photobucket.com), upload your pic to their site then put the resulting URL (link) into your profile.

mjsmilford: Sorry for hijacking your thread.

Decoding/Numbers / Re: subframe assembly date coded?
« on: October 20, 2005, 01:55:46 AM »
I didn't know there were any stamps at all on the subframe.  Could you tell me where you found the stamp?  I was wondering on my car if the subframe was original to the car so a date stamp would help me verify this.  Thanks!!

Click on your name, on the left side under Modify Profile, click on Forum Profile Information.  I have a pic of my car on my personal web page, so I just used the "I have my own pic" option and typed in the link.  i don't know if the upload option works or not but you might try it.  Good luck.

With the change over to a newer, easier to navigate forums, it seems we have a lot more folks posting.  Is having information on as many cars as possible worth, in your opinion, perhaps a little extra time to add a form folks could fill out with information on their car?  Also, perhaps a sticky thread or similar notice in some parts of the forum, politely reminding/asking folks if they would please submit their car's data?

If so, is there anything I can do to help?

Originality / Re: 67 Deluxe interior seat belts
« on: October 19, 2005, 12:33:18 PM »
No problem at all Brian.  You only sent me what I asked for and I'm thankful.

Kurt, I think the GM emblems might be correct, that's what the ones attached to the back seat are.  I had thought someone might have had changed them for some reason.  What is an acceptable date variance for the date code to the build date?  A week?

Thanks Kurt.  I wasn't sure if the belts changed from standard to deluxe along with the interior.  I do have a deluxe interior, but the cowl tag doesn't have a code for deluxe belts.  Did the standard belts have retractors? Black buckles? GM or Fisher emblems?  Would the date on the tag be for the year the car was built (1967) or the model year?  I'm trying to get it as correct as possible, even though my car will never be all original because of it's missing drive train.

Thank you Brian for sending me the pictures as well!!!!

Originality / 67 Deluxe interior seat belts

I'm looking for pictures of some original seatbelts for my 67 with deluxe interior.  Also, what would be "correct" seat belt tag info.  The car is an 01E car.  Thanks!!

I was going to make a post on the Camaros.net forums announcing the CRG forums were back up (with permission from Dennis), but I figured I'd wait to see if you all wanted to try to fix the old username/password issue before a gang of folks came and reregistered with new usernames.

Awesome!  Old PW didn't work either so I had to reregister.  I'm very appreciative of the work you guys put into this site.
