General Discussion / Re: AIM?

Marty, they're ALL copies. The original is/was owned by Chevrolet and never released to the general public. Some copies are better than others and as a general rule (but NOT always the case), the bound versions are usually better than the three ring versions.

No one that I know of repops the rectangular flasher. Not even the Corvette repop houses, so that probably goes to show you just how little call there is for it.

No, we don't have one, but instead us the TC site for WIW and For Sale sections.

General Discussion / Re: First Gen. Z/28 options

Not only what Jon said, but people didn't walk into the dealership to buy a Z28 because they wanted "conveniences". They bought a Z28 to race! Most Z28's were stripped down cars to keep the weight down. Nothing but the basics.

Paul, you must have posted as I was editing my post to include what the C05 meant! I figured someone would ask!!

Convertibles weren't options, they were models. C05 was used to indicate what color top you wanted when you purchased a convertible (Note the price of NC - No Charge).

And no, the stripes weren't available on any other model other than what's already been stated.

Thanks Paul. I would imagine he's not interested, but send him an email anyway. You never know.

It was on ebay back in September of 09 by seller verbua.

It's now a pro touring car, highly modified. It did sell (for $31,700.00), and the buyer was farrow191yh1.

Can you send me a scan of the POP and the dealer info? I'd like to add it to the database.

HERE'S a pretty good price on a 66-76 Hollander (42nd edition).

Note that the Mitchell interchange is a harder book to find, so they usually command more $$$.

The ones I have are both late 1969 printings and they say 1970 on them. These are fine, but of course they don't have any "newer" car interchange info in them. (In other words, will the 69 Camaro radiator interchange with the 1974 Nova.)

I would get something like a 1975 or 1976 issue. That way you could see what interchanges with later model cars.

Check ebay. Amazon has it, but it's NOT cheap!

You might also want to get "Chevrolet Parts Interchange manual" by Paul A. Herd. It has a few errors in it, but overall it's a pretty good reference for interchange information. Some of the radiator information even includes measurements.

I've posted the page from the Mitchell Interchange below for future reference.
