Pad stamp is 18L339001 and the date is T0320MQ (March 20th, 1968). Possible VIN's are 124378L339001 or 124678L339001

1968/69 Chevy 396/375 HP Engine Camero chevelle nova impala - $4800

This is a rare and desirable 396 big block chevy. Best I can figure, (I am not a professional) is that this engine is a 1968 375 HP engine. The engine ID on front of motor reads T0320MC, indicates it was manufactured March 20. The casting number 3916323 indicates it was cast in 1968. The casting number is associated with a 1968 375 HP engine. I was informed that as per the Vehicle Vin Stamping Number, 18L339001, the second number (8) = 1968, and (L) = Built in Los Angeles, with the remaining numbers being associated with vin of the car it came from. I assume this engine was from a 4 speed car as there is a pilot bushing in the back of the crank. Check the numbers and see if they match up to your car. If you don't have original numbers matching block, one showing that it's correct to your car would be a really nice way to add value to your prized possession. This would be a great engine for a Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Caprice, Impala, El Camino or Corvette. It's in great shape for a rebuild. All the parts are standard sizes. The engine block, heads, and steel crank were just magnafluxed by a local engine shop and guaranteed rebuildable. Dimple Rods and pop up pistons have some light surface rust which of course affects nothing. All of the 4 bolt main caps are in place and this block is ready for your classic. All packaging and Shipping costs to be paid by customer and is not included. Can ship to a business address, residential shipping is an additional cost.

You'll love THIS ONE!!

Amazing, rare barn find.. this is a genuine Carol Shelby GT 500 Chevy Camaro set of two wheels!! Probably one of the rarest wheels Shelby has ever made. Most people have never heard of a Chevy camaro Shelby GT 500, they did produce a small number of these factory race cars! These are price very cheap.. if you know anyone with a Shelby Camaro, let them know about these beauties! One has hub cap, both in mint condition! You may never see another set of these ultra rare wheels.. 14x9" Shelby GT 500 camaro 302 wheels!! Call or text Eric@ number hidden for privacy

You gotta hand it to him. It's always best to make up a good story when you want to sell something. In this case it's two beat up mags marketed by Shelby, and are basically the same as the U.S. Indy slot mag wheels that are worth maybe $100 at best! But here's the part I like the best:

Most people have never heard of a Chevy Camaro Shelby GT 500

That's because there's no such thing!

You can read more about it HERE and HERE.

Restoration / Power window wiring routing
« on: August 16, 2017, 02:22:06 AM »
A friend is trying to install power windows in his 68 convertible and needs a picture of the factory wiring harness routing to the rear quarter window motors. I really don't want to pull my car apart to take pictures so I'm hoping someone with factory power windows already has a picture of what he's looking for!

Can anyone help?
