« on: June 23, 2007, 02:00:41 AM »
My Neighbor was in Detroit last weekend showing one of Jim Hall's Chapparral race cars from the 60's snapped this photo of the new Camaro convertible.  He says the photos don't do the car justice.

General Discussion / 69 350 intake needed?
« on: December 20, 2006, 02:32:01 AM »
I'm starting to gather parts for the rebuild of my CE replacement engine and I will be needing an original cast iron intake manifold #3927184.  My car is an 05A build. I'm hoping my heads are the ones that came from my original engine.

I need a couple of things:

1.  What date codes would be acceptible for the build date? ???
2.  Other than ebay, where would a good place to locate a correct manifold? ???

Thanks and Merry Christmas,
Kris

Maintenance / Door locks won't come up with the key?
« on: May 29, 2006, 11:54:33 PM »
Ever since I purchased my 69, the pasanger door would not open with the key.  Since the driver side would I just ignored it.  Now after 7 years the drivers side is suddenenly not working either.  The pull knob on both still work and the door handles, both inside and outside the car work fine.

Can any one out their suggest a starting point to fix this?  I really would like to lock the car up occassionaly.

Thanks,

Kris

Restoration / Installation of factory tach and center fuel gauge in 69
« on: January 08, 2006, 06:01:22 PM »
A friend of mine gave me an original tach for a 69.  My car has the standard speedo and fuel gauge, no console.  I would like to install this tach and replace my fuel gauge with a center fuel gauge.

Will the tach plug into the wireing harness behind the dash or will I need to rewire.  If I do have to rewire what is involved?

Will the Center fuel gauge plug into the original fuel gauge harness?

Thanks in advance.

I can't seem to find the "VE" designation.  Can any of you help?

Thanks,
Kris
