I wonder how nice they will be to deal with when you tell them the car is not as they advertised and only worth about half of what they want.  ::)  That trim tag looks like it went through a meat grinder, how can it get that way? ???

I believe the VIN may have been off this car as well. It does not look very centered to me.

« on: August 14, 2019, 06:15:20 PM » why date stamp the engine first and narrow down the number of people looking for that date range? Bragging about his ability to even fool the experts for over 40 years can't be that smart or else he would offer to date stamp after the sale has been made or offer to do it in not such a public way.

707621 here, I think it has a 12/69 code on the door sticker (car is in storage, presently out of reach)

My car was on the production line just before yours, N707359.  I have not sent for the NCRS shipping report but I have reason to believe that my car originally went to Murfreesboro Tennessee or in the general vicinity. All original rust free sheet metal car except one of the previous owners installed a cowl hood. It is an AC car now enjoying life in Canada. :)

This car is back and now for sale. Are the red flags still present?

Whomever put it on must have been in a rush, couldn't even get is straight.

Z/28 equipment included the taller V32 rear bumper guards, presumably to comply with federal bumper height requirements.

Wouldn't all Camaro's need to have then if they had to comply with the federal standards? I always thought they were just part of the appearance package? But I am no expert.  :)

After selling at BJ this year (2019) it appears the car is again for sale. The story line appears to be more in line with the truth. Has to be the most expensive VIN tag in history.

I enjoyed that video. All the data manipulation is mind boggling. Wonder how many magnetic tapes or punch cards were dropped or lost in the process.  ???
