Are there any special considerations that need to be addressed when replacing a bracket bolt? I have found an original bumper that is missing one of the outside bracket bolts. Is it possible to weld another one in place without causing any further damage? Thanks.

I'm sure this has probably been discussed numerous times, but was there any rhyme or reason for the Endura Front bumper option in 1969? I've seen them on Z28's as well as RS cars, although I don't know how to tell if they were an original option. Thanks.

I haven't looked at the car in person. All I know about the car at this point is what you can see in the pics. Thanks.

Originality / 69 Front Bench Seat

This subject has probably already been posted a few times although I didn't find anything in my search. What's the real story on 69's with factory front bench seats or is there such a thing? It is my understanding that the "bench seat" was not a factory option for the 69, (67&68 only, but no convertibles.) I've recently run across a 69 that appears to be an all original barn find, less than 100K miles, power top convertible, has a front bench with fold down center armrest, automatic on the column, deluxe houndstooth interior with a straight 6 engine. This is only the 2nd 69 I've ever heard of as having a front bench seat. Any and all info will be appreciated.

These are totally original and intact. In great shape as far as I can tell. About the only thing they would need to make them show quality would be a repaint or powdercoat. Thanks.

A friend of mine has a set of original 5 leaf rear springs from a 69 Pacer in excellent condition. Trying to get a feel for a fair selling price. Thanks.

I can't attach a better pic due to the 500KB size limit but will be glad to email to any person that would like to "broach" the subject with me! I'm 99% sure the stamp is right but I always value other carheads' opinions as there's so many "smart" people out there that try to fool you. Thanks.

I talked to Pertronix today and the tech told me to take the stock resistor wire out of the circuit and install a new switched wire to the positive side of the coil to provide constant 12V when the key is in the run position. Guess we'll see how that works today. Thanks again for all the input.
