General Discussion / Part name needed! 1968 RS

Hi Guys! On a 68 Camaro RS When you get under front end to take off headlight acuators or canisters you have to take off the plastic covers hooked W/three bolts to get to canisters What are those covers called mine are beat up and I want to replace them also does anybody repop T-3 Headlight bulbs for Camaros? Hey Guys!
Well I now have 2 68 Camaro's One Original & one Restorod! They are both great cars but so different! The original one from Jim Webb Estate the other a guy built with $$$ no object as he was getting old and one last car! Well he spent over $125K and Murphy's law he caught cancer and car almost finished  Art Morrison Chassis Gen 4 454 600 HP Tremec 5 Speed Willwood 4 Wheel Disc Brakes Blah Blah Blah! Tks Bill

General Discussion / 68 RS SS Picked up 3 From Estate

Hi Guys!
Just got finished picking up 3 RS SS Camaros that have been sitting in CA desert since 2003 they were under a nice car port! It was from a estate You had to buy from pics only could not inspect cars and silent bid! All three are RS SS two BBS one SB all 4 speeds A few questions where on 68's were the build sheets if they had any? I looked at the Blue car its a L34 350HP 396 SS RS Deluxe Int Tilt wheel, 4Speed AM/FM it also has a Motorolla Reverb under dash were those Stock? Still need to ck numbers on other two Tks Bill

Hey Guys!
I just picked up a Space Saver Spare it says Will work for a G78-14 or 8.25 14 Date code by valve stem K-1-4   8  Does that mean 1st week Nov 4Th day 1968? Also other side of stem EL
Does that mean El Camino?  How to tell Camaro? Tks Bill

He guys!
Question how do the RS Headlights work? Are they only suppose to open when you turn on headlights? Mine open and close only if you rev motor! But when I'm driving car during the daytime DS opens and will only close if you rev motor and shut motor off! is it a adjustment? passenger side stays closed while driving with lights off! Tks Bill

I ran my vin number on the Corvette sight blog & found out it was bought in Reedley CA Marten Chevrolet & Olds My buddy just found me one Killer to have original Plates & Frame! Need to find another one for front Tks Bill

My Z28 had a broken tip Oil dip stick I did a lot of research & bought a nos green tip I changed the oil & Put a long Gm Filter & 5 Qts of oil! Question Oil just shows at tip didn't these come come stock with a short oil filter so should it take 5 1/2 qts when you use the long filter? Tks Bill
