General Discussion / What is this fuel pump ?
« on: December 26, 2019, 04:42:22 PM »
Merry Xmas and Happy holidays  to everyone. I am going to sell this pump from my fathers collection and I am confused about what I am reading. There seems to be some conflicting pumps and numbers ! I read a thread about these pumps but it didn't say exactly what this pump is.This is a NOS new AC 40731 . Is it for the ZL-1 ? Did it replace the original ? Is it for the copo,or Corvette ?
As always you guys are the experts. Thank you in advance .

General Discussion / Need to replace the firewall
« on: December 19, 2019, 01:10:07 PM »
The car I am doing is a complete mess and I need to replace the firewall and the dash. Is there a place to buy the factory rivets and how do I go about documenting what the body shop is doing ? The car is a real X77 car and if he goes to sell it some day I don't want him to have problems ! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Emo

Can a 1969 x77 Z-28 have 4 piston calipers on the front by themselves from the factory. If so would that be a J56 ? Thank you everyone

Isn't that the love of the car ! Whats better then a SBC or a BBC  pounding away to the tune of 5 miles to the gal or my case I think 5 gals to the mile lol It's been a long time since I have driven the car but 1 thing that has never changed. I am still a gearhead !!! Why own the car if you expect something that will never happen ! In 1975 I bought the Camaro and in 1978 I bought a F-250 which rode even worse ! You have to love the abuse I guess . It's a Camaro !

Hi everyone, I started to take the interior out of a 1969 Z-28 and I believe all these panels are original but I always like to ask the experts to make sure. I was amazed how nice these were. Thanks again Emo
