I think that's what the Orphans section is for. I'm on there almost daily hoping someday my engine will pop up for my 68.

Yea me too!
Seems most of what Iíve seen on orphans is
stuff for sale on eBay or craigslist , etc .

Is there a thread or has anyone ever considered
Posting your non numbers matching engine,
transmission or 3rd member codes?
Maybe I have your motor or you have my transmission ?
Not a classified add as they are not allowed .

My father gave me his shifter ball, this thing is heavy, but it has a set screw hole
The one I found on eBay with a set screw
like yours must be aftermarket, you say itís heavy!
Originals were only 4oz

Thanks

Robkesís was at 3rd and Madison in Covington, Ky. That was right across the river from Cincinnati. Later, in the 90ís it moved to the location where it closed, like you knew, about 6 years ago. Now, Wyler Kia (I believe what I was told) is at that location. Several of the employees scattered to other dealers, of which my buddy could elaborate as he knows a lot of guys in the auto business. From what I have been told, no old records exist.
Thank You Sir !
In the mean time an internet search
produced a phone number of a realtor
Lady , a Robke, I left her a message then the next day
I get a phone call from Bud Robke, the 4 generation
Owner of the dealership , who closed it amidst the GM
Bankruptcy !!
sadly Mr. Robke said that every 7yrs they disposed
Of all sales records 😢
Thatís ok I guess!!! Any result is better than never knowing
