Agree of course. Going back to get more pics I appreciate response. I'll post more if worth the time. I'm thinking alot of transplant going on. The early build is what peaked my interest. I believe it was a SS car. 350 powerglide.

Thank you.. I came across a strange car lately..it's a 67 equipped with round traction bar 12 bolt 6k refline tach, and had a old looking z28 glove box sticker. Now I know it's not a Z but car also has heater delete plate with radio delete over that?  The trim tag is Los. And contradicts the radio .. When I decode it it's got alot of options. But pre 4p or other. Being car 635 so strange. Car is not restored by any means yet in 57 years alot can he changed. It has 28 windings on springs but hood is a replacement cowl real gm.

I see that as well the brotch looks good the block had been dipped took 30.  It does not match my z. As in my prior post I have a corvette 327 block already. I come across this block and having a real z car wanted to install this one. The person having it had 2 of them. It to me does not look like a restamp just heavier I can't see evidence of another number. That said even the seller was straight up not asking for a fortune. Thank you for responding maybe someone can add or bring more to light. Here a couple more pics

General Discussion / MO Block
« on: March 23, 2025, 05:33:36 PM »
I ran across a MO Block from a 02 built car. My Z has a 678 68 dated corvette stamped block. I may never find a real Z Block is it worth the investment even if it's not my Vin.
Opinions please.

Power brakes were removed and drum fronts installed for weight savings with finned drums in 1970 car wad campaigned B/mp in Va.
Still has small block shroud.
