I seen that Darrel but that means every car that was a 350 SS or less was a X11 Code..LOL
What exactly does that X CODE mean ?
Thanks

You may have "seen that" but you probably should have read it.  Everything covered that people are posting is all there.  Also the search function on this site is very helpful.

I say tub it and make a pro street.

Actually I would LS3/4L80E swap it and upgrade the suspension.  Leave the body & interior "as is" and drive the piss out of it.

Most likely yes.  Low horse v8's in 67 did not get vin stamps but the date range vs the build date etc line up.

Restoration / Re: L34 FORGED CRANK ?

Bentley and Mike make valid points..  My comments were assuming the crank was known good and was in hopes of removing the rust by turning.  Either way, if it were me I would probably still do the Evapo treatment.  Regardless what the outcome is of the crank as long as you crank was free of grease and oil before submerging it then the Evapo can be reused.  I would strain it before putting it back into its container though.

Buy some evaporust and soak that crank.  Then take it to machine shop to have it balanced/checked.  Also its a forged crank.  Look for 6223 cast into one of the throws.

First welcome.  After looking it over quickly, I'd pass.  Would like to see a better pic of the pad.  Trans is a restamp & 67 cluster.  I'm sure there is more.   Don't get me wrong is a well presenting car but the asking price and the issues would have me continuing my search.

I'm not the one with an erection posting some elses find.?This is a data base website why not ask a moderator I posted info you dont care about. You as well as others dont care about facts your just about association.I've never heard of you I guess that explains your comments :)

So now you are trying to turn your frustrations out on me?  lol  erection.?.  A little childish don't you think? I don't think I asked anything out of line.  But since you wanna try to bash me I see your game now.  How old are you seriously..    I still do not see the linking of an important car find that has been brought to public eye as a bad thing.  You must still be butthurt over not being able to close the deal on the car.?  Chin up Timmy, I don't care if you have heard of me before but I can assure you I am not the one looking like a jackass right now.

I still ask why don't you go to the source and plead your frustrations and complaints as I really don't care what you have to say since its mostly blah, blah, blah blah..

Look dude I'm not gonna get into a pissing match as this isn't my car.  I am only helping post photos and help share the info.  If you don't like the video that's fine.  Everyone has an asshole so they are entitled to an opinion as well.  I asked previously if you had proof of another car that was converted after this one to please share.  I am all about wanting to learn and gain knowledge.  But to me it sounds like you are the guru on all things Yenko so I ask again.  Can you provide proof another car was converted after this one?  If so GREAT!!  It will be the new last car built(converted).  Until then I still do not have an issue with the claim.

BTW your username is fitting..

Curious why don't you post your concerns on the actual thread about the car on sYc?
