Decoding/Numbers / Unknown code
« on: April 27, 2023, 11:23:15 PM »
Hello members. Trying to decode a Los Angeles built 1969 Camaro. I understand all the codes on the cowl tag except one. The code, D052 is just under the paint code and I cannot find any reference as to what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please review attached.

General Discussion / Re: camaro fold-down seat
« on: June 13, 2008, 01:22:36 AM »
Hello to all. Found the answer to the difference. The 67 has square corners all the way around the folding portion of the seat. The 68 and 69 have notches in the top corners for the latch device. Maybe this will help someone down the road with the same question I had. Thanks for looking. Dale

Hello to all. What is the difference in rear fold-down seats from 67 67 and 69. Are they the same and will fit all three years, or are they different is some way. I appreciate all who take the time to respond. Thank you.

Restoration / 1967 Trunk vacuum release assembly
« on: May 13, 2008, 02:31:11 AM »
Hello out there. Does anyone happen to have assemply details for the '67 vacuum trunk release option. I have the release mechanism, and thumb switch but I am not sure if there was a vacuum accumulator that is necessary to correctly install this added feature. Assembly details would be a great help if someone has it, or can offer any advise. Thanks to all for reviewing this subject and responding. Dale

Mild Modifications / 67 Power window conversion
« on: May 09, 2008, 07:54:19 AM »
Hello to all. Has anyone had the experience of converting a 67 RS to power windows from standard crank ?. I have collected (2) sets of the motors, regulators and wire looms from 67 Camaros and am interested in converting mine. I will replace the old wire looms but seems basically I will need to do some cleaning on the other components. I am now thinking on how and where to drill the holes in the door pillars and door itself for the wire looms, and also where to place the front and rear switches. I could use some help on the procedure for this conversion if anyone has any info. I appreciate your time and efforts to read this and respond. Dale W. (calif)  ;D
