Restoration / 1967 RS SS COUPE

Hi, I am currently doing a full restoration on an all matching number low mileage RS SS Coupe and I am in need of a similiar car for some info on some under the hood issues.  I am looking for a member who may have an SS or RS SS with A.I.R. smog system and is totally original or restored to original . I am looking for detail pictures of the carburetor and vacuum lines and the routing of pcv hose etc. My car is an early model , built 01C in Van Nuys, Ca. and is an L48 with 4 speed. I'm referring to the lingage on the carb itself. the 7037203 rochester is designated as an early style for use on california built camaros with a.i.r. and 4 speed trans. and is almost identical to the 7027203 which is non a.i.r.. The carb i bought is correct in every way, right down to the date code of A7 . The only thing missing is the outer part of the throttle lever which is the piece that the accelerator rod attaches to.  the 7027202 and 7037202 are very similar carbs but are intended for automatic trans and the throttle lever is a one piece stamping as with most carbs with multiple holes for kickdown,cruise control etc. whereas the 4 speed carbs had a two piece throttle lever with the outer part attached with two slot head bolts. I did somemore research and found a picture of a 7027203 in CHEVROLET by the numbers by Aan Colvin and it clearly shows the two slot head bolts and a second pic on the next page shows a partial of the same lever and a part # is visible.  I'm sure most people, including myself would and have looked at these carbs in the past and never even noticed that the lever was that way.  I would really like a close up pic(s) of the lever showing the part# and the slot heads . I notice that you have a "67 ss/rs listed, I can email you a pic of my carb to compare if necessary. Thanks..

THANKS JOHNZ FOR YOUR FEEDBACK ON THE L48 QUADRAJET, BUT ONLY THE AUTO TRANS CARS HAD A ONE PIECE THROTTLE LEVER IN '67. THE 7037203 IS A 4 SPEED CARB AND IS DIFFERENT WHEN IT COMES TO THE THROTTLE LEVER AND WERE DIFFERENT AGAIN IN '68 AND'69.  ANY OTHER GROUP MEMBER(S) PLEASE RESPOND. THANKS AGAIN.  PAUL.

HI, I AM NEW TO THE CRG FORUM. I JUST RESENTLY BOUGHT A '67 SS/RS 4 SPEED CAR THAT HAD BEEN STORED SINCE '86.  IT IS A CORRECT ALL MATCHING NUMBER CAR WITH THE EXCEPTION TO THE CARB AND INTAKE MANIFOLD. I JUST BOUGHT THE CORRECT QUADRAJET CARB # 7037203 WITH THE CORRECT DATE. MY QUESTION IS TO SOME ONE WITH AN IDENTICAL SS350 WITH 4 SPEED AND THE ORIGINAL QUADRAJET CARB.  WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS IF THE THROTTLE SHAFT LEVER IS A TWO PART ASSEMBLY AND BY THAT I MEAN IS THE OUTER PART OF THE LEVER WHICH ATTACHES TO THE ACCELERATOR LINKAGE A BOLT ON PIECE ATTACHED BY TWO SLOT HEAD BOLTS?. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY INFO AND PIC'S IF POSSIBLE. THANKS IN ADVANCE.  PAUL.
