Originality / NOS weatherstrip question
« on: March 08, 2012, 07:46:07 PM »
I know the original assembly line weatherstrip has the white string in it and the later version has the hard plastic piece. When the later version is installed can you tell the difference without looking at the end of it??Also has anyone had success cutting the hard plastic piece out of it???Thanks.

It is for the orange/orange  33 option 396/350 car.I am now getting different opinions on the part # for this alternator. Some are saying it should be 849.I have been told this option was also available on Chevelles and police cars.Do you know for sure what part # I need. Thanks

Gotta ask - what doc do you have that shows K85? It would only appear on a window sticker or such.

Not a common alternator....
