General Discussion / Part Number ID and what are they worth
« on: November 26, 2012, 01:50:16 AM »
I have been cleaning out my basement and came across the following and was wondering if you can help ID if they belong on Camaro and what they might be worth.
They are still in the original box just a tad dusty and dirty:
Tape, Stripe 1 Kit; GR.8.132; 492115 (can't find anything on this)
Mldg Asm; GR.10.093; 1#8714979 (this seems to be for 68-69 Camaro convertible header

These are still in the factory box.  Any help ID'ing and what the value is would be appreciated.

Would you guys have a rough idea as to what the engine is worth, outside the unlikely event that someone out there actually still have the car it came out of?

Thanks for the heads up on the digit between the N and the 6.  I will look again to see if I can spot it.

A picture of the pad is attached.
For the serial I have tried light at different angles, magnifying glass and even high res pictures.

I have a 302 DZ motor with the following marking:
VO605DZ
Serial # 12N6321 (there is another digit after the one but can't tell if it is a 1 or a 4)
Number is very hard to read
I have owned this motor since the early 70's
