Isn't this the original style sending unit for a 69 with console gauges?

No sticker under the steering column. This sticker was in the glovebox. (5-8-69)

Does anyone know what the Kenny Ross Dealer emblem looked like in 1969? My car has a couple of small holes under the SS emblem on the tail pan, I'm thinking this must be where the dealer emblem was.

I bought the car in 1973 from the original owner, blown motor, i had the blown L78 short block but scrapped it, (as a 20 yr old, who knew), I wanted a Z28. The original owner kept the trans. and I traded the rearend to another Camaro owner for a 4.56 12 bolt. I knew of the car in our area when it was new, it may have been School Bus Yellow with custom paint from KR, I don't believe it had hockey stripes but it had an American flag painted on the hood. Original owners' brother wrecked it and then had it painted some candy apple pink, it looked like a pickle egg when I got it. My buddy and I painted it in 1975 white with black Z stripes and added some Z emblems. It is still the same to this day.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I wanted to share info about my car.  I have a somewhat mustard yellow special paint 69 Camaro sold new at Kenny Ross. I'm not sure what color it was but the closest I could find was Placer Gold. It's an SS/RS L78 with black deluxe interior and a 4 speed. I'm the second owner and have had it since 1973. The car does not have it's original motor, trans or rearend. Build date is 04L. I  would love to hear about any Kenny Ross special paint camaros from around this timeframe.

My 04L SS/RS L/78 is 638xxx  I'm the second owner, purchased in 1973 and I know the original owner. Mine was also a special paint, not sure if that has anything to do with the trim tag date or not.

My car 9N638xxx has a 04L trim tag. Anyone have any thoughts on this? When was it built?

My 69 Camaro L78 has a date code of 04L on the trim tag. Does anyone know anything about this date? I have heard there are some 04L out there but what does it mean? Anyone else have an 04L Camaro?
