Dennis ,

You should post the IPC's VIN and trim tag over at www.camaropacecars.com.

Lots of 67 IPC knowledge there.

As above and yes its a serious question. I would appreciate serious answers if people here know.... I am talking about at a drag strip obviously and would prefer to do as few modifications to standard as possible (obviously apart from engine etc etc) . I do understand its all in the way to get the car to hook up , Does the fitting of Caltracks have to be done? Any modifications to the front suspension? What have you guys done?? Thanks in advance

John - Thanks for the reply. I was also hoping others might have been able to look at their known repro hoods to see if any of the repro manufacturers had now manufactured any so that they now looked like the original GM in the same area as the pics show or if my hood was in fact 100% sure an original NOS GM.... ;D

My Hood has the notch in it as is indicated to be a GM Hood. But it does not have any stamping in the location you guys have stamps. Does this still make it a GM NOS hood? Can this difference between GM and repro be confirmed by anyone else as I guess there are several manufacturers of these repro hoods now. Please let me know what you all think. Thanks in advance
