There is an additional duct on the console cars. Otherwise, the air just blows on the console. Can be difficult to find.

Garage Talk / Re: My First Camaro - What was Yours?
« on: August 23, 2017, 10:16:08 PM »
My first Camaro was a 69 Indy Pace Car that I bought from the orig owner in 1974 for $1500. Kept it for a year and sold it for $1800. Thought I made a killing. The only reason I sold it was it was a 350/300 automatic. I wanted a stick. Bought a Cortez Silver RS/SS big block 4 speed. Blew the tranny. Racing a 70 LT-1 on the belt pkwy and sold it. That's 2 mistakes! In 78 I bought my 69 Z which I own to this day.

Crappy picture. I can't tell from just looking on my phone. I need to look later on a larger screen.

General Discussion / Re: Camaro Addiction
« on: July 20, 2017, 07:05:32 PM »
I bought my first Camaro in 1975. An Indy Pace car. Aside from a weak moment when I thought I needed a black Ram Air IV GTO, I have always had at least one. I'm up to 4 right now, so, it only gets worse! There are worse things to be addicted to!

It's been a while since I have seen my original 010 block. It is at my engine builder since he left New York for South Carolina almost 20 years ago! Long story! GreenNV, is there a vin on the side of this block? As I remember, my assembly date is V0424DZ. Vin clearly stamped on the side of the block.

I have them on my car, and there ARE squirmy as hell. Can't recommend them. I still have a set of original good years, but was concerned at how old they are!
