General Discussion / Re: VIN Lookup and VIN Decoder sites
« on: Today at 03:49:51 PM »
Appreciate the thoughts - i knew there was no way to tell via the vin, unless it was able to match the vin to the build sheet somewhere - yea thats a big wishful thinking they had the foresight to do this.

General Discussion / VIN Lookup and VIN Decoder sites
« on: January 24, 2025, 11:52:21 PM »
anyone use any of these sites, similar or are they  part of the NICB report data base.

I ran a VIN and it came back and it defined it as a 68 Camaro L34 built car - is this possible that i can know what this car was built as?   Is the data reliable or what should i make of it?

Thoughts??

I guess based on this - there was no silver paint applied to the tabs to blend in with the grill - as i previously that was reasonable - but not done.  Agree, it looks like it was masked off somehow.

Good info
