My car does have the short spoiler. I've attached a picture of the underside of the
rear deck lid where the Camaro emblem would mount. I do see some type
of weld/brazen on the underside. Maybe you can tell me what that means.
I do have the Chassis Broadcast copy, the Body Broadcast copy, and copy
of the invoice. The option for the "Air Spoiler equipmen" is 05D80AA ($25.21) is
found on the invoice. I don't know what box to look at on the Chassis or Body Broadcast
copy for the Air Spoiler option. Thank you.

It appears that there's no rear deck "Camaro" emblem as well on the GM proving ground picture.
Is that correct?

Great picture of the rear deck lid stripes going down the deck lid as well as where the stripes begin
under the rear glass. The picture I posted of my rear stripes start about 4 inches below the
rear glass. Want to say again the rear stripes of my 69 match exactly to the assembly manual.
Thanks for the picts.

My car is a LOS 10D build. My build sheet has the D80 (spoiler option).  I'm the second owner it never had the Camaro emblem on the
rear deck lid.

The original post also said, "We have evidence that some of the LOS-built Z11's and Z28's with spoilers had decklid stripes that extended onto the rear lip of the decklid"
So, I was just providing some information about mine. Thank you.

I've attached pictures of my rear deck with spoiler. Build sheet includes the D80 package. As you can see stripes continue down
the deck lid. As far as I know its factory paint. The layout dimensions match the assembly manual.
Hope this helps in the discussion.

LOS built 1969 camaro z28 (10D).

Any suggestions with removing black spray paint from original rally wheels. Used 3000 psi pressure power washer that removed some of the
black spray paint. 1/2 of the black paint still there. Original Argent silver baked finish still on rally wheels and in good condition. Last resort is
to spray paint on Argent silver. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have posted before about the rear stripes on my early (Oct build 68) LOS built z28. My build sheet has D80. The back of my trunk lid also is striped. I have the shorter stripes as well. Look for my previous posts which include pictures. As I said back then I don't see any evidence of an accident. I'm the second owner.

Great information. The build sheet lists "05D80AA",  Air spoiler equipment as one of the options. So, I think that indicates that the spoiler was
to be installed during the build. So, maybe the spoiler wasn't available during the build or since my stripes begin about 5 inches below the bottom
the rear glass (as though it had a vinyl top) maybe the excess stripe material covered the area under the rear spoiler and extending down the
back of the trunk lid.  I hope your can follow that. It's a thought.

My apologies, the rear deck stripes do extend to the bottom back of the trunk lid.
The paint is original as well. I have never seen any indications of a rear end
accident as well.
