Hi MO,

Swiss-Camaro do not have "Body By Fisher", but GM Biel's are mounted in the engine compartment.

The chassis no. S9-685167
Rel. K-193-23

The number in the engine block: V1214MU.

I assume that the Camaro was assembled in Biel at the end of December 1968.
The release number K (code for 1968) speaks for it.
If the code K was used from 1.1.1968 (calendar year, not model year).

Hello together,
I have a 68 Camaro 350SS that was assembled in Switzerland.
For this I got the gearbox number of the THM-350.
The numbers: B1L28D

Provided that I have seen this correctly, can this belong to a 68 Camaro?

I could see the Camaro, an absolutely original Camaro in all areas!
A 327 from Biel, all documents are visible.
Also the opening letter for the delivery of GM Suisse!

Very nice Camaro that is really rare!

Hi Kurt,
the code is difficult to read is V0423EE.
Imported is not clear, but it was redeemed on July 1st, 1968 in Zurich.
The GM Suisse badge was removed when repainting is lost.

A nice original Camaro Convertible from 1968.
An import vehicle, but not by GM Suisse, but parallel import.
These often had a sticker instead of the "General Motors Suisse S.A. Bienne" in the engine compartment.
The sticker could be part orange / white, partly black / white.

Hello Tim,
this is a true Swiss Camaro with the 283-Cui V-8.
The VIN is at the bottom of the picture.
The options were all the same for 1967 Camaros produced in Switzerland:

- Reduction 3.08: 1
- Differential brake standard
- Disc brakes in front
- Powerbrake
- Power steering
- windshield shower
- Windschield wiper 2 levels
- Rear windows defroster
- reversing lamp
- Engine and trunk lighting
- No radio (the customer had to buy sepparat)

In addition, two rear reflectors had to be installed below the bumper by the importer,
And the Daylight combined with the turn signals.

Hello Tim,
thanks for this list!
Seems like these were explicitly ordered in Switzerland.
Thank you for your help!
