As a side note; How important is it to have:  1) original build sheet ?   2) protect-o-plate ?   3) provenance from dealer to current owner?    And in what order?   Apologies if this has been covered previously.

General Discussion / 69 Z28 X33 cowl tag for sale/ $49k

Hey, everyone. This car has been listed on a local site for several days now. Usually they get snapped up quickly if the price and originality add up. At the risk of giving up a site that almost nobody is aware of nationally, here it is:  KSL.com.  Click on cars- enter search parameters- and there you go. This is a very popular site in Utah and surrounding states, and often the cars are not listed elsewhere. After scoring 3 cars recently, including the 67 RS/SS, I'm going to have to quit buying cars for a while.  This 69 Z28 seems fairly original, has muncie/DZ 302/ restored in the 80's/owner lists a few casting #'s, including block/heads/intake/axle/ Car is located in Dolores,Colorado.(lots of collector cars in that area).

General Discussion / just bought a 67 RS/SS350 survivor

Almost completly original. 62,500 miles. Tuxedo black on red. Was re-sprayed approx. 20 years ago. Very nice in, out, and mechanically. 11E LOS .I  plan to simply preserve this beauty, so that's where I would appreciate some expert advice. Since it is not the original paint, a re-paint in the spring is the only thing I plan to do. Any tips on finding the right shop would be great! I have recently moved to Salt Lake City after almost 30 years in San Diego, and do not know any shops in the greater SLC area qualified to touch my new find. I'm not looking for that" better than factory" look, just want as close to the original laquer as I can get ,but with modern paint. Any help would be much appreciated. Tim.
