What GM model was built at a plant with a Z designation? I found a Muncie with a partial vin 0Z1434181 for sale,  and I am trying to figure out what it came out of? Thanks for the help.

Restoration / Deluxe Interior Rear Panel / Windlace Fit

My rear side panels were recovered, and the upholsterer left the edge of the vinyl that is covered by the windlace unattached to the fiber board backing. Is that correct and should that material be captured under the windlace, or should the vinyl wrap around the edge of the panel and the windlace then goes on the pinch Weld and panel? They have been off for a while and I don't believe the previous covers were done correctly, so I don't have a good reference. Thanks in advance for any help.

Originality / 1969 Bucket Seat Back Arm Correct hardware

I am reupholstering my bucket seats and wanted to know what the correct hardware was for the seat back arm to base attachment is? I am unable to determine from my seats whether there is a plastic washer & C clip for attachment, or some other configuration. Thanks.

I have new/NOS deluxe comfortweave bucket seat bottoms and a rear seat Comfortweave panel insert that I need installed. Anybody have a recommendation for a local shop?

Restoration / Dash Gauges- Green Lens Replacement

Has anybody figured out how to repair the green light lenses for the dash gauges? I have to repair mine and haven't found a solution searching the forums.

Restoration / Console Cut Out Dimensions for A/M Carpet Install

I searched and didn't find any info on the front carpet cutout dimensions for the console. I am replacing an a/m carpet kit so it won't be any help. As they say- "measure twice and cut once"- so I definitely need some dimensions!  Thanks in advance.

I am in the process of replacing the Astro dash vent seals and I can't identify all of them included in this kit. I have searched the AIM but can't locate all of the seals that are included.  Any help would be appreciated.

Restoration / RS Headlight Switch Testing/ Refurb

Is there any way of testing the RS headlight switch to make sure that the dimmer and other circuits are intact? And is there any acceptable method of cleaning or refurbishing the switch? Thanks.

Restoration / Eaton CV Fan Clutch Restroation Question

I was digging through some of my old 69 Z28 parts and I picked up this fan clutch and started to scrape away the old paint. And low and behold, I saw what I thought was the original Eaton CV application code and E14J date code. But I am no expert on the stamps, so any opinions are appreciated. And if it is original, what would be the best way to clean it up? Try and preserve it and clean off the lousy rattle can finish, or totally restore it? Thanks in advance for any input.

I have come across a 70 Z that has a national press showing notification on the bottom of the build sheet. What is the significance of this and is there any additional information available on this topic? Thanks.
