   DZ 302 vin# 19L305200 suffix VI010DZ 030 bore build date J 4 8 decodes oct 4 1968 the #1178 crank shaft , pistons L2210 A bore 030 dunvo race cam 30/30 orig.

 rebuilders A36990 is stamped next to suffix code

Restoration / 70 Z28 camaro sheetmetal help roof /cowl pilar /trunk pan

I have 70 Z28 camaro mulsanne blue it is rusted around the front/rear windows the front pilars in both front corners which is pilar meets the cowl I like to here from you guys were to start ? roof skin? or complete roof ,inside looks like surface rust ,i am not an expert in auto body sheetmetal ,I appreciate help to start my project. I may decide to sell the too..I thank you in advance Joe.

DZ 302 is early date J 4 8 Block 386 front block pad: A36990 VI010DZ pistons 0.30 L 2210 a



crank 1178 needs repair . rods forged 8" balancer clock cover 11/69I don't have orig oil pan it comes with 7qt moroso .



Dunvo orig cam shaft, springs O rockers locks are good condition.Lt-1 valve covers are in good shape.



186 Heads are virgin 194 need to cut to 202 valve size. the are correct to date code for the 386 block.



67 Z28 intake manifold 3917610 is early also. have 3310 holly 780 CFM.



Dist. is for 1970 .350.



This engine needs to be rebuilt.
