« on: December 21, 2022, 10:50:19 AM »
I guys

After 56 years and only 90 000 km , i have planed to rebuilt my 327 L30 engine.
It run well , but i have a lot of oil leaks and a greasy spark plug in cyl 8.
I m in France ,so i need to order in US and like tomake only one order.
I would like to know if it’s pissible to install 3/8 valve pushrod instead the 5/16 ?
I don’t know for the moment the size orginaly installed in my block , but i find 2 sizes.
So i think bigger is better but do they fit ?

Thanks for your help

Merry xmas and happy new year

Foreign Camaros / 67 coupé camaro with "sunroof"
« on: March 21, 2014, 11:50:21 AM »
hi guys

I recently learn that  a french coupé camaro in 67 could have an original sunroof.

the  original press and salon model  for france have a vinyl top and a sunroof , it seams that s this models go back in the US few years before.

have you some more informations about this option? i try to learn more here in france.

i have find this in the CRG
http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=6375.0

and Some 67-68 European Camaros did get factory sunroofs. I've seen several.said KurtS

maybe  only  the press or salon  french models have this option ( pre serie?)

and "One of the most unique features installed by the Antwerp plant was sunroofs. Sunroofs were made by a German supplier and were optionally installed on both Antwerp-assembled vehicles and imported vehicles. When the sunroof was added to imported SUP's, a vinyl top was also installed (to hide distortions in the roof panel). "

so maybe the salon car wath built in belgium an d received the top there?

thanks

Originality / 67 Rear bumper and front export model????
« on: March 14, 2014, 10:34:33 AM »
Hi

i have a question , when i look at the AIM UPC 14 for my 67 rear bumper , the screw at the corner is located at the top of the bumper. but on my export model the screw is below the bumper ????

where are yours??? is it possible that the export model have a special bumper ? or a mistake in the AIM?

and for the front bumper ,there are no hole below the bumper in the corner (and no screw  just like 68 models)  and it not seem to be a 68 model because i dont have the 3 holes  near the license plate ....( just one for the braket)
and a friend have the same configuration on his 67 export model ( but he have repro bumpers)

thanks
