Thought I would shares some pictures of a Rally Green 1969 RS we have just restored over here in New Zealand.
We bought it in from the USA at the beginning of the year, the previous owner had pulled it apart to repaint in the 1990's and never got around to finishing it.
We did a bare metal respray and replaced suspension bushes and fitted a NOS exhaust and a few minor things.
Has come out nice.
All matching numbers engine - drivetrain. (I sensibly took photos)
Interior got new carpet
"It is rare when a 16 year old car can be found in this condition" - Article from 1986!
Just need the spare wheel to finish it off.
Sorry that another nice US car has gone to the provinces
