General Discussion / 619 BB Fan Shroud
« on: March 11, 2018, 08:50:43 PM »
Any ideas on how to safely remove the 3 vertical bars on the top of the shroud.
The NOS 619's have these bars the originals do not.
I'm told William may know how to do this.

Mild Modifications / Ignition Wires
« on: January 21, 2016, 01:06:30 AM »
I would like to replace the Packard carbon powder wire set with a spiral SS low loss set with the correct straight ends and black in color for the correct look and to fit in the stock looms.
Is there such a wire set for a 396?

Anyone know where I can get Wheel Cylinders for a 67 Drum brake car that are Made in the USA?
The smart guy that owned this car prior replaced the cylinders 2 years ago with junk and tossed The Delco Moraine parts.
Already leaking.
Ordered AC Delco parts off ebay and guess what? The pictures in the listing are USA what I got were China.

Originality / 69 Z28 Fuel line
« on: May 29, 2015, 05:51:02 PM »
Is the metal fuel line continuous from tank rubber hose to pump? Or is there a break with a rubber hose behind the RH front wheel- body to frame rail transition then back to metal to the pump?

Originality / Parts missing from factory
« on: May 27, 2015, 04:52:45 PM »
When I purchased the 67 Camaro I have I noticed that the Deluxe door panel handle cups had the 2 chrome screws missing on both sides. Closer inspection reveled that the cup brackets were also missing. Pulled the door panels after I purchased repop brackets and low and behold the brackets were never installed from the start. Punched holes were never threaded into and original water barriers had no holes or marks.
Also the 2 dimples farther back under the arm rest section  have never been punched out for screws and no hole in door frame for them.
Anyone else see this or was it just a bad day at work for someone.

What is the deal with this date tag? It is from a 67 belt set and it has 1968 printed on it with a 67 date code.
